Brian May Has A New “Funky Hot” Project!

We’re As Excited As Him!

Looks like Brian May has his hands full this year. Aside from the upcoming Queen + Adam Lambert tour, it seems like he’s also working on another project. Just recently, he took to Instagram to share a photo of him with other musicians. Lily Carassik and Yasmin Ogilvie are both part of London-based horn section Apex Horns while Talia Dean and Izabelle Karamel are members of Kings Daughterss.

We’re excited to hear what they recorded because we’re always up for fresh and interesting collaborations. Check out his social media post below.

Meanwhile, May has revealed that even though 2018 film Bohemian Rhapsody became the highest grossing music biopic of all time, he and all the other members of Queen “haven’t earned a penny from it.” He also found it funny that there are those who think they were “getting rich off this movie.” Well, he’s currently worth $175M so it’s not like he’s not yet already rich.

Bold as Brass !!! The KING’S DAUGHTERSS paid me a visit again today, this time with ace brass players Lily and Yasmin – wow !!! We are funky hot !! Ha ha ! @YasminOgilvie @LilyCarassik @apexhornes @TaliaDean @isabel.Karamell @kingsdaughterss I’m so itching to let this Jolly track out of the bag ! But we must wait till the pudding is properly cooked. Gotta say a Studio Day like this is the best medicine. It will keep the blues outside the door (unless you invite them in, of course!). I don’t know many things that can do this. I’m grateful. And I’m convinced this is a massive hit !! Bri
