Rock fans, mark your calendars because legendary Poison frontman Bret Michaels is returning with some explosive news.
Michaels announced plans for an interesting new project on his Instagram account. The project will involve the iconic Mötley Crüe vocalist Vince Neil. This concert, which is scheduled for Thursday, September 19 at the Highland Yaamava Theater in Southern California, promises to be a remarkable night full of hits from both legendary bands.
Michaels uploaded a video of himself talking enthusiastically about the forthcoming event with Neil, highlighting their shared commitment to giving fans an amazing experience. Michaels promises a night of pure rock ‘n’ roll magic, promising nothing but the best from Mötley Crüe and Poison’s repertoires. With this partnership, Michaels and Neil have collaborated since they were on ‘The Stadium Tour,’ and Michaels says they are both excited and ready to light up the stage once more.
Why Michaels Took A Break?
Michaels’ return to the stage comes after a period of introspection and necessary rest. Following the conclusion of ‘The Stadium Tour’ in 2022, Michaels seamlessly transitioned into his Parti-Gras festivals in 2023 without pausing for breath. Now, with the announcement of Parti-Gras 2.0, Michaels is ensuring that fans get another dose of his electrifying performances. However, the rocker recently hinted at a potential hiatus soon.
In a candid statement, Michaels opened up about his plans for 2025:
“I’ve always stated that music is a universal language that is meant to unite us, excite us and never divide us. It is a soundtrack to our everyday lives and I truly look forward to giving every bit of energy I’ve got in 2024 and leave it all up there on the stage every night. However, in 2025, in light of some recent medical results and setbacks, and with much discussion and real advice from my doctors and family, I will be taking most, if not all, of 2025 off, except for a few select dates with both the Bret Michaels Band and possibly all-original Poison. I truly need to recharge the batteries and get a good, much-needed physical tuneup.”
While Michaels’ announcement may come as a disappointment to some fans eagerly anticipating future shows, it serves as a poignant reminder of the importance of self-care and prioritizing health above all else. As Michaels gears up to deliver yet another unforgettable performance alongside Vince Neil, fans can rest assured that they’re in for a night of unparalleled rock ‘n’ roll magic.
