Happening On July 18

A few weeks after his 80th birthday, Bob Dylan has announced a livestream concert – his first performance post-pandemic. The last time he performed live was on December 8, 2019 at the Anthem in Washington, DC. He did have touring plans for 2020 but the global health crisis derailed them.

Taking place on July 18, the event called Shadow Kingdom will be streamed via Veeps. Tickets are priced at $25 and the show will be available for 48 hours after its initial broadcast. You can purchase tickets on Veeps’ website.

“Shadow Kingdom will showcase the artist in an intimate setting,” the press release reads, “as he presents songs from his extensive renowned body of work created especially for this event.”

Veeps was founded in 2017 by Good Charlotte members Benji and Joel Madden.

“It’s an incredible honor and a high point for us all at Veeps to have the opportunity to be working with Bob Dylan,” Joel Madden said, “and to be a part of what is sure to be a truly special and historic performance, not only as professionals but as music fans, too.”

While Dylan release his latest album Rough and Rowdy Ways in 2021, he otherwise kept a pretty low profile throughout last year.
