Ann Wilson is back and ready to rock after finishing chemotherapy, gearing up for Heart’s rescheduled 2025 tour.

The band was set to hit the road across North America this summer and fall, but plans had to change when Wilson underwent surgery to remove a cancerous tumor. “The operation was successful, and I’m feeling great,” she shared in July, “but my doctors advised me to do preventive chemotherapy.” Wilson decided to follow that advice and took the rest of the year off to focus on her health.

Ann Wilson Gives an Update on Chemo Treatment

Fast forward to now, and Ann is feeling strong again. In a recent social media update, she let fans know that her chemotherapy was successful, declaring that it can “get the fuck out” of her body. She’s clearly ready to move forward with her plans.

In a video message to fans, Wilson said:

“I know lots of you have been wondering how I’ve been doing, so I thought it’d be best if you heard this straight from me. I’m doing absolutely fine now, but it’s been, to put it mildly, a lot. Chemo is no joke. It takes a lot out of a person. And then there’s that two weeks of waiting for test results — a form of mental torture.”

Ann also shares:

“Luckily for me, when the results finally came, they were the good kind. And so I’m excited to share with you that I’m now finished with chemo and I’m officially ready to get ready for the tour in 2025!”

Though she mentioned that she’ll have to continue with some “maintenance,” she’s relieved that the worst is behind her and is ready to focus on getting back on stage. As she humorously added:

“The poison is more than welcome to get the fuck out of my body now!”

What Heart Fans Can Expect

Heart’s rescheduled North American Royal Flush tour will kick off on February 28 in Las Vegas and run through mid-April. They haven’t rescheduled or announced new dates for the European tour, which was canceled in May.

But fans can now look forward to seeing Ann and the band back in action soon. “I’ve so felt your love.” Wilson shared:

“My story has a happy ending due in part to early detection. My advice? Get checked regularly. I love you all and I’ll see you very, very soon. There’s much to celebrate.”
