Sina kills it!

There’s absolutley no denying that Queen are one of the most legendary bands of all-time. Everyone knows that Freddie Mercury’s voice is pretty much the greatest of all time, but we sometimes overlook how great the other members of the band were. Brian May’s guitar is iconic, John Deacon’s bass-lines were always groovy and Rodger Taylor helped keep the band in time with his precise drumming!

YouTube drumming sensation Sina recently covered Queen’s classic hit “Killer Queen,” and proved why she is the frontrunner in the future of drumming. Her precise timing, and perfect technique make this one of her best covers yet. Although it may not be the most difficult song to cover, we can’t help but appreciate Sina’s simplicity and her ability to nail down the timing and fills. She adds a few fills of her own throughout the cover, but overall this is a true tribute and cover to the original!

Fun Fact: In the New Musical Express November 2, 1974, the song’s writer Freddie Mercury elucidated on this song: “It’s about a high class call girl. I’m trying to say that classy people can be whores as well. That’s what the song is about, though I’d prefer people to put their interpretation upon it – to read into it what they like.”
