The Who are streaming a lyric video for their performance of the 1982 classic “Eminence Front” in 2019 taken from the upcoming package The Who With Orchestra Live at Wembley.
Ahead of the release of the live album on March 31, the band shared one more track “Eminence Front,” a song originally released on their 1982 record It’s Hard, which features Pete Townshend on vocals. They’ve shared a lyric video that features some of the footage of their live Wembley performance.
The forthcoming package was recorded on July 6, 2019, during the Who’s first headlining show at the famed London venue in 40 years. The concert has them performing classic songs from their albums like Quadrophenia, Tommy, Who’s Next, Who Are You and more backed by a 50-piece orchestra.
The Who With Orchestra Live at Wembley will be available in multiple formats, including a limited edition yellow, orange, and red 3LP set, triple black vinyl, and a 2CD/Blu-Ray set which features the audio remixed in Dolby Atmos; in addition, all formats feature a booklet with unseen photos from the show.
Meanwhile, The Who will be back on the road for The Who Hits Back! tour in Spain in June.
Fans can now pre-order the new live album on the band’s official website. Stream the lyric video below.
