Faster Pussycat Frontman Taime Downe and Fiancée Kimberly Burch Had a Heated Argument Before Her Cruise Ship Death

Faster Pussycat singer Taime Downe’s fiancée, Kimberly Burch, was presumed dead after an incident on a cruise ship.
Kimberly joined the band on Sunday, March 2, as they performed on The ’80s Cruise, a weeklong event featuring artists from the decade. According to Kimberly’s mother, Carnell Burch, Taime called to inform her that Kimberly had fallen overboard. No body was recovered from the water.
Details Emerge About Taime Downe and Kimberly’s Relationship
The incident reportedly happened about 20 miles off the coast of the Bahamas. The U.S. Coast Guard assisted the Royal Bahamas Defense Force in searching the area.
A source told the Daily Mail that Taime and Kimberly’s relationship wasn’t as perfect as it seemed. Although they “looked amazing” and “very much in love,” passengers overheard shouting from their cabin.
They said, “The argument was in their cabin, their neighbors heard only yelling but nothing specific being yelled out. Their relationship looked amazing otherwise, there was never any complaints, little or big from either of them, they seemed to be in love with each other, very much.”
The source also mentioned hearing “scattered stories Burch was drunk” that night but added that Kimberly “didn’t really drink and had helped Downe with his sobriety.”

Royal Caribbean and Family Speak Out
A Royal Caribbean spokesperson told the outlet, “Our crew immediately launched a search and rescue effort, is working with local authorities, and we are providing support and assistance to the guest’s family during this difficult time. To respect the privacy of our guest’s family, we have no additional details to share.”
Kimberly’s mother told TMZ that her daughter was drinking on the cruise, but it was not something she did often. While Kimberly was reportedly acting differently, Carnell said she noticed no signs of emotional distress before the trip.
