In a new episode of The Osbournes Podcast, Ozzy Osbourne shared details about his comeback to the stage despite his health challenges.
The episode of the podcast started with Ozzy saying:
“I went to the doctor last Monday, and they said I’m blood clot-free. So I’ve got to do this with one of my arteries next Monday, and after that, it’s just back to physical therapy.”
The Prince of Darkness also mentioned his plan to start practicing tai chi to help him with his return to the concert stage. He added:
“I’m gonna try to do it. It’s good for balance. It’s a new adventure.”
Ozzy’s daughter Kelly then talked about the benefits of tai chi to patients with Parkinson’s disease, Ozzy continued:
“I want to get back, and all options are open for me now.”
In July, Ozzy was forced to pull out of the Power Trip festival set for October this year. At that time, he released a statement that reads:
“As painful as this is, I’ve had to make the decision to bow out of performing on Power Trip in October. My original plan was to return to the stage in the summer of 2024, and when the offer to do this show came in, I optimistically moved forward.”
Following his last successful spinal surgery in September, Ozzy wants to make a new solo album in 2024. The rocker can’t walk properly yet but is thankful “not in any pain anymore, and the surgery on my spine went great.”
