Ozzy Osbourne who recently declared his retirement from performing live and who canceled all his scheduled performances has stated that he would think about going on the road once more.
The Prince of Darkness said that he might be able to perform live again if his health condition improves. Upon announcing his retirement, he elaborated on his condition and his frustrations. He said:
“My singing voice is fine. However, after three operations, stem cell treatments, endless physical therapy sessions, and most recently groundbreaking Cybernics (HAL) Treatment, my body is still physically weak.”
Osbourne went on thanking his fans for โpatiently held onto your tickets for all this time,โ and continued โbut in all good conscience, I have now come to the realization that Iโm not physically capable of doing my upcoming European/UK tour dates, as I know I couldnโt deal with the travel required. Believe me when I say that the thought of disappointing my fans really FUCKS ME UP, more than you will ever know.โ
Meanwhile, in a new interview with Billy Morrison the Prince of Darkness stated:
โSo, if I can ever get back to where I can tour again, fine. But right now, if you said to me, โCan you go on the road in a month?โ I couldnโt say yes. I mean, if I could tour Iโd tour. But right now I canโt book tours because right now, I donโt think I could pull them off.
โIf I get OK today. If the doctor said to me today, โOh, you can tour.โ It would take another six months to get it together, you know? The only thing Iโve got that keeps me going is making records. But I canโt do that forever. I gotta get outta there.โ
Although Osbourne has Parkinson’s disease which was first identified in 2003, he cleared the rumors by saying on his SiriusXM show:
โIโm not fucking dying.โ
