Jack Osbourne has introduced the newest member of his family, a baby girl whose name carries deep meaning for the Osbourne household. The television personality and producer revealed that he and his wife, Aree Gearhart, recently welcomed their daughter, Ozzy Matilda Osbourne. The name is a clear tribute to Jack’s father, legendary rock singer Ozzy Osbourne, whose death in 2025 left a lasting mark on the family and on fans around the world.
Jack and Aree shared the news on Instagram on March 11 with a short video introducing the baby. The caption read, “Introducing Ozzy Matilda Osbourne,” while the clip showed a small “Hello World” card listing the newborn’s details. According to the post, Ozzy Matilda was born on March 5 at 7:49 a.m., weighing 7 pounds and 12 ounces and measuring 19 inches long.
A Family Remembering Ozzy Osbourne
The arrival of Ozzy Matilda comes during a period of remembrance for the Osbourne family. Her grandfather, Ozzy Osbourne, died in July 2025 at the age of 76 after suffering a heart attack. His passing happened only weeks after a major farewell event known as the Back to the Beginning concert, held in Birmingham, England.
The concert brought together musicians and supporters to celebrate the singer’s career while also raising money for charity. Organizers said the event collected more than $11 million for Acorns Children’s Hospice, Birmingham Children’s Hospital, and Cure Parkinson’s, groups connected to causes the family supported.

Growing Osbourne Family
Ozzy Matilda is Jack Osbourne’s fifth child. He shares three daughters, Pearl, Andy, and Minnie, with his former wife Lisa Stelly. Jack and Aree also have another daughter, Maple, making the new baby the youngest member of the growing family.
The name chosen for the newborn quickly drew attention from fans who follow the Osbourne family. Many saw it as a warm nod to the late singer, whose music with Black Sabbath and as a solo artist shaped several generations of rock listeners.
Tributes Continue in the Music World
The birth also comes at a time when Ozzy Osbourne’s influence is being widely remembered in the music world. In February, artists gathered at the 2026 Grammy Awards to perform a tribute to him led by Post Malone. The performance included Slash and Duff McKagan of Guns N’ Roses, Chad Smith of Red Hot Chili Peppers, and producer Andrew Watt. Together they performed the Black Sabbath song “War Pigs.”
Another tribute followed at the 2026 BRIT Awards. Singer Robbie Williams joined guitarist Zakk Wylde on stage to perform “No More Tears.” During the ceremony, Sharon Osbourne and daughter Kelly Osbourne accepted a lifetime achievement honor on Ozzy’s behalf, reminding the audience of the singer’s long career and lasting place in rock history while fans continued sharing memories of his music worldwide today.
