After revealing their new drummer, Foo Fighters launched their summer tour on Wednesday night at the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion in Gilford, New Hampshire.
The first stop mark as their first live concert of the band with new drummer, Josh Freese. Foo Fighters made the announcement during their May 21 livestream performance on Veeps.com. Freese was also among those who performed during a pair of tribute shows to Taylor Hawkins.
The second tribute show in L.A. on Sept. 27 last year, also marked the bandโs most recent performance prior to Wednesday nightโs gig. Foo Fighters canceled their remaining 2022 tour dates following the sudden death of Hawkins on March 25. Hawkins played with the band for 25 years and appeared in eight of their studio albums.

The show ended with a short clip from the band and a closing message saying:
“Thank you so much for coming. Weโve missed you.”
