A Major Announcement for Sandringham Estate
Eric Clapton has been confirmed for a major UK show at The Sandringham Estate in Norfolk in the summer of 2026. The concert will take place on Sunday, 23rd August and is the first event announced for next year’s outdoor concert series presented by HeritageLive Festivals, running from 20th to 23rd August.
Tickets will open for PreSale on Wednesday, 3rd December at 9:00 a.m. Fans must pre-register at https://arep.co/p/ericclapton for access. The announcement has already sparked strong interest, marking the start of another large-scale music weekend at the Estate.
HeritageLive’s Excitement
Giles Cooper of HeritageLive Festivals shared the team’s excitement, saying:
“Eric Clapton is one of the greatest musicians of all time and it’s a dream come true for all of us at HeritageLive Festivals to have him play at The Sandringham Estate for us next August. It’s going to be such a special and unique event – one of those gigs where you say in years to come ‘I was there!’. We just can’t wait!”
Clapton continues to draw crowds worldwide, with many of his tours selling out quickly. His influence stretches back to the 1960s, when he played with The Yardbirds, John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers, Cream, and Derek and the Dominos.

A Look at Clapton’s Career
Known as one of the most respected guitarists in modern music, Clapton built a strong solo career with songs like “Layla,” “Wonderful Tonight,” and “Tears in Heaven.” He has earned 18 GRAMMY Awards and is the only musician ever inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame three times.
With more than 100 million records sold, he continues to record new music. His most recent album, Meanwhile, released last year, includes collaborations with Van Morrison and the late Jeff Beck.
Recent Tours and Venue Information
Clapton has stayed active onstage, touring across Europe, South America, Mexico, and the United States. He also remains closely tied to London’s Royal Albert Hall, where he has performed more often than any other artist.
For the Sandringham show, gates will open at 2:00 p.m. and the event will end at 10:30 p.m. VIP packages include tours of Sandringham House. Full event details can be found at www.heritagelive.net.
