Billy Joel Postpones Tour Because Of Undisclosed Medical Condition

Billy Joel’s highly anticipated tour is hitting the pause button for four months as he recovers from surgery and undergoes physical therapy. The Piano Man is taking time to focus on his health, which means several of his upcoming concerts have been rescheduled. While most dates have been moved, Milwaukee is the one exception, with no new date announced yet.

Joel Puts Health First

In a statement addressing fans, Joel made it clear that his well-being is his top priority. He said:

“While I regret postponing any shows, my health must come first.
“I look forward to getting back on stage and sharing the joy of live music with our amazing fans. Thank you for your understanding.”

Fans who already purchased tickets don’t need to worry—all tickets will be honored for the rescheduled dates.

Recent Health Concerns

This announcement comes just weeks after Joel took a fall onstage during his Feb. 22 concert in Montville, Connecticut. Despite the tumble, he quickly got back on his feet and finished the show. While fans were relieved at the time, the fall now raises questions about his ongoing health concerns.

Earlier this year, Joel postponed a Florida show due to an unspecified medical procedure, marking another instance where his health took precedence.

New Dates Set for Billy Joel’s Tour

With his tour on hold, Joel will focus on recovery and physical therapy before returning to the stage. Fans may have to wait a little longer, but the legendary singer-songwriter is determined to come back strong.
