ZZ Top is gearing up for a busy 2026, expanding their tour itinerary with nearly two dozen additional shows. The new dates broaden the group’s initial announcement earlier this week, which detailed the first leg of their Dos Amigos tour with Dwight Yoakam. While those concerts focus on U.S. cities throughout April and early May, the fresh additions will take the band back to Europe for a summer run.

A Return to European Stages

The newly announced leg, titled The Big One!, marks ZZ Top’s first European tour in two years and will take the Texas trio through 13 countries throughout June and July. In a statement accompanying the announcement, frontman Billy F Gibbons emphasized the group’s longstanding connection with audiences overseas. “We love playing for European audiences as they’re among the most energetic and enthusiastic we’ve encountered over the course of the past five decades,” he said. Gibbons added that fans can expect the band to bring their signature intensity: “We’re excited to bring The Big One! to the continent where you can be sure we’ll be turning it up and rocking out. We predict a circumstance of direct communication because there’s no language barrier when the common parlance is to let it rock.”

Where the Tour Will Hit

Gibbons, drummer Frank Beard, and bassist Elwood Francis will launch the European stretch on June 22 in Tartu, Estonia. The itinerary then moves through major cities including Helsinki, Hamburg, Brussels, and Paris, before the band closes out the summer schedule in Cadiz, Spain, on July 25. These dates follow the U.S. shows scheduled to begin in April 2026 in North Little Rock, Arkansas, and wrap one month later in Huntington, West Virginia.

What’s Ahead for Gibbons

In addition to ZZ Top’s tour plans, Gibbons will remain active on the road early in the year. He and the BFG Band have a series of solo performances booked across North America, running from late January through late February. With both solo and band commitments filling the calendar, 2026 is shaping up to be a milestone-filled year for one of rock’s most enduring acts.
