ZZ Top Announce New 2026 Concert Dates After Major Lineup Shifts

ZZ Top has further packed their already full 2026 itinerary, announcing 19 additional dates for The Big One! tour. The Texas trio will launch the U.S. leg on March 21 in Abilene, Texas, adding even more momentum to what is shaping up to be one of their busiest touring years in recent memory.
Overlapping Tours and a Busy Frontman
Throughout March and April, The Big One! dates will run alongside the previously announced Dos Amigos tour, a co-billed trek with Dwight Yoakam that pairs Southern rock grit with Bakersfield country swagger.
Before these dual tours even begin, frontman Billy Gibbons will spend January and February on the road with the BFG Band, crisscrossing the country and setting an unusually high pace for the early months of 2026.
European Run Caps a Heavy Year
Once both U.S. tours wrap, ZZ Top will head overseas for a 23-date European leg scheduled to conclude on July 25 in Cádiz, Spain. The band plans to present the full slate of tour dates—across all four touring projects—in a clear chronological format for fans eager to keep up.
In a press release announcing the new shows, Gibbons reflected on the band’s relentless energy. “We’ve been spending a lot of time on the road and the more we’re out there, the more it feels like home,” he said. “Our philosophy is to keep on keeping on because, simply put, we’ve been having a good time and see no reason to stop. It’s great to connect with audiences that are now three generations deep. The party train continues to roll!”
That “party train,” as Gibbons calls it, isn’t just a matter of nostalgia or stamina—it’s a testament to ZZ Top’s unusual longevity. Few bands manage to sustain cross-generational appeal while maintaining such a demanding tour schedule. Yet the group shows no signs of slowing down. If anything, 2026 appears poised to reaffirm their status as one of America’s most enduring live acts, still finding new energy on stages around the world.
