God Bless Sal Gonzalez!
Just…wow. Sal Gonzalez is absolutely amazing as he belts his way through his acoustic rendition of ‘Simple Man’ on America’s Got Talent! We’re so glad we stumbled across this incredibly talented young man performing one of the greatest songs ever written!
Sal Gonzalez is a veteran of the United States Marines, and was injured in 2004 when he lost his leg in an IED attack.
He hasn’t let that stop him, though!
When Sal isn’t serenading us with classic Lynyrd Skynyrd tunes, he works with the Wounded Warrior Project and helps other wounded veterans when they get home!
He’s talented and gives back? We love him already! He’s even got a sense of humor:
