A Seven-Date Trek
Whitesnake just announced additional dates for their spring 2020 tour in Europe. In support of their latest album “Flesh & Blood” which was released on May 10, 2019, they added seven shows and a handful of them will be with fellow rock icons, Swedish band Europe. You can check out the schedule below. Tickets are already available including VIP packages.
A few days after their European tour wraps up, Whitesnake will then kick off their UK arena tour along with Foreigner. It will start off on May 31 in London and end on June 8 in Manchester. Speaking to Heavy Consequence earlier this year, Whitesnake’s David Coverdale said: “It’s so interesting though, because we have such an incredible, loyal audience, and they’ve stuck with David Coverdale and Whitesnake through thick and thin. And fortunately, we’re not dependent on any kind of musical fashion cycle — we’ve always had a solid support for record sales and tours.”
He added, “And it also helps these people to go, “Wow, they’re still relevant. They’re still writing songs that are as strong as the songs on Slide It In or the ’87 album.” It’s very important as a musician or as an artist to feel that your audience feels that you’re relevant, for you to feel relevant, and that you’re not just going out there, treading on past glories.”
