Zeppelin’s Formation
Page originally played guitar in The Yardbirds. The band featured guitar legends Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck. When The Yardbirds disbanded, Page formed a new group, recruiting Plant, Jones, and Bonham. The goal was to create a fresh, powerful sound. By September 1968, Led Zeppelin jumped on stage and quickly gained attention for their raw and rocking energy.
