1. Tenacious D in the Pick of Destiny (2006)
Tenacious D, the comedy rock duo of Jack Black and Kyle Gass, gained musical credibility with Grohl on drums for their debut album in 2001. Grohl went even further by appearing as a demon in their “Tribute” video. Later, in their feature film, The Pick of Destiny, Grohl elevated his role to Satan for the surreal climax.
