A new documentary chronicling the last chapter of Ozzy Osbourne’s life is set to arrive this fall. Titled Ozzy: No Escape From Now, the two-hour film traces the iconic frontman’s journey from a debilitating fall in 2019 to his final concert in 2025. The documentary will premiere exclusively on Paramount+ on October 7.

The film opens with the incident that changed everything: a serious fall at home that forced the cancellation of Osbourne’s farewell tour and triggered a series of ongoing health battles, including a Parkinson’s disease diagnosis. Speaking candidly in the film, wife Sharon Osbourne recalls the toll the experience took on her husband.

“At that time, the depression was so bad,” she says. “He’d say, ‘What’s the point in even getting up? I’m not working with the physiotherapist. What’s the point?’”

Finding Purpose Through Music

Despite mounting physical and emotional challenges, Osbourne found renewed strength through music. In late 2019, he collaborated with Post Malone and producer Andrew Watt on the hit single “Take What You Want.” According to Ozzy, that creative spark became a lifeline.

“It got me out of the blues,” he reflects in the film. “That was the best medicine I ever had at that point.”

The documentary follows Osbourne’s struggle to return to the stage, ultimately culminating in his final performance on July 5, 2025, shortly before his death. More than just a timeline of events, the film offers a deeply personal account of a legendary artist confronting the end of his career — and his life — with brutal honesty.

Rock Royalty Pays Tribute

No Escape From Now features interviews not only with Ozzy and his family but also with many of his closest collaborators and longtime friends in the music world. Among those appearing in the documentary are Tony Iommi, James Hetfield, Duff McKagan, Slash, Billy Idol, Zakk Wylde, Tom Morello, Chad Smith, and Billy Corgan, among others.

Described as “Ozzy like you’ve never seen before,” the film promises a rare glimpse behind the curtain — showing the vulnerability, humor, and resilience of a man whose voice defined a genre.
