Watch Axl Rose Join Billy Joel In A Once In A Lifetime Performance Together

On Thursday night, Billy Joel surprised fans at the final show of his Madison Square Garden residency by bringing out Axl Rose as a special guest. The Guns N’ Roses frontman joined Joel later in the 25-song set, delivering energetic covers of Wings’ “Live and Let Die” and AC/DC’s “Highway to Hell.”

Throughout the evening, Joel performed many of his classics, including “New York State of Mind,” “Allentown,” “Vienna,” and “Uptown Girl.” His enthusiasm and connection with the audience were palpable, marking his 150th performance at the iconic venue. “There’s no place like this,” Joel told the crowd, reflecting on the significance of Madison Square Garden.

Adding to the celebration, comedian Jimmy Fallon appeared on stage to present Joel with a commemorative banner. “Congratulations,” Fallon said. “I love you. New York City loves you.
