Statements from Officials and Investigations
During a press briefing, officials from the Scottsdale Fire Department stated that five people were affected by the accident, and one person was pronounced dead at the scene. Aviation authorities later revealed that a malfunction in the aircraft’s left landing gear likely caused the crash.
