This time, the King Crimson guitarist and his vivacious wife deliver a spirited cover of “Yummy Yummy Yummy,” the 1968 bubblegum pop hit originally made famous by Ohio Express. The choice perfectly suits their playful, offbeat style — a combination of infectious charm and bold visual flair. After some digging, it turns out this is the first time they’ve tackled this particular track, much to the delight of their fans.

Famous for its catchy hook “Yummy yummy yummy, I’ve got love in my tummy,” the song gains new life in the hands of Fripp and Willcox. Their performance is elevated not only by their vocal chemistry but also by their striking costumes, featuring day-glo wigs and Willcox’s metallic basque, which add a vibrant, theatrical edge to the playful tune. King Crimson’s Classic Albums Get a 21st Century Makeover

In other news, King Crimson has announced upcoming reissues of their 1970 albums In The Wake Of Poseidon and Lizard. Both will be released as deluxe two-disc sets, combining CD and Blu-ray formats, with new mixes by Steven Wilson in Dolby Atmos, 5.1 DTS-HD MA surround sound, and high-resolution stereo. David Singleton has also contributed fresh Elemental Mixes of selected tracks. Fripp himself praised Lizard, calling it “too big for stereo” and claiming it may be “the most experimental rock record ever made,” thanks to its bold fusion of free jazz and progressive rock. Alongside these sets, Lizard will receive a heavyweight 200g vinyl reissue, with all editions arriving via DGM/Panegyric on October 24.
