Thin Lizzy Announces Career-Spanning Box Set “Rock Legends”

Out On October 23

Thin Lizzy are preparing to release a new career-spanning box set titled “Rock Legends”, out on October 23 via UMC. The six-CD/one-DVD collection features 74 previously unreleased tracks, demos, rough mixes, live recordings from their 1980 tour, radio sessions, and other rarities. The package was compiled by Thin Lizzy guitarist Scott Gorham and band expert Nick Sharp.

The DVD includes the rock act’s performance on the Rod Stewart 1976 TV special “A Night on the Town” and Linda Brusasco’s 60-minute documentary “Bad Reputation”.

Aside from the songs, “Rock Legends” also comes with a hard-backed book, Phil Lynott’s poetry books, prints created by cover artist Jim Fitzpatrick, and comments from their famous fans like Joe Elliott, James Hetfield, and Slash.
