Bruce Springsteen has just set a new personal best with his blockbuster 2023-2025 world tour. The legendary rocker wrapped up the trek on July 3, 2025, and according to Billboard, he’s pulled in over $700 million, making this the most financially successful tour of his entire career. This eclipses his previous record set by the 2012-2013 Wrecking Ball tour, which earned $347 million. The Boss continues to prove his lasting appeal, showing no signs of slowing down after decades in the game.
One of the Biggest Tours Ever
Springsteen’s latest tour raked in a massive $729.7 million in total, placing it among the highest-grossing tours in music history. He joins the ranks of music icons like Taylor Swift, Elton John, Ed Sheeran, and U2, who have all smashed records on the road. The tour was also the longest in Springsteen’s career, with a whopping 129 shows spanning nearly two years. Over that time, the Boss sold an impressive 4.9 million tickets. Billboard noted that ticket prices increased 29% compared to his 2016 The River tour, but this rise was still “well below the typical uptick” seen among other top arena and stadium acts, legacy or contemporary.
Billionaire Bruce? Not Quite… Yet
Back in August 2024, Forbes reported Springsteen’s net worth had crossed the $1 billion mark. They wrote: “Despite his discomfort with the trappings of wealth, the Garden State’s original guitar hero has amassed a substantial fortune over six decades, which Forbes conservatively estimates to be worth $1.1 billion.” But the Boss himself pushed back, telling fans, “I’m not a billionaire. I wish I was, but they got that real wrong. I’ve spent too much money on superfluous things.” With the massive earnings from this recent tour, though, Springsteen might just get his wish sooner rather than later.
