Sweet Child Of Mine’ Gives Life To Thor: Love and Thunder Trailer

Marvel Entertainment has released the first ever teaser trailer for the much awaited Thor: Love and Thunder, starring Chris Hemsworth in a different setting living on his new way of life featuring the soundtrack Guns N’ Roses’ “Sweet Child O’ Mine.”
The teaser starts with Thor saying:
“These hands were once used for battle… Now they’re but humble tools for peace. I need to figure out exactly who I am.”
As Thor opens his eyes to the New Asgard, cues the iconic guitar riff of the intro to GNR’s classic. Following Avengers: Endgame, Thor decided to join the Guardians of the Galaxy after attending Stark’s funeral. Now the trailer shows the new chapter of Thor’s life as a part of the team, he later on says:
“I want to choose my own path. Live in the moment. My Super Hero-ing days are over.”
Chris Pratt‘s Peter Quill (aka Star-Lord) also has a big role on this film as he give some wisdom to Thor saying:
“Remember what I told you. You ever feel lost? Just look into the eyes of the people that you love.”
The new journey of Thor in the quest for inner peace will be interrupted as Gorr the God Butcher played by Christian Bale in his MCU debut will seek the extinction of the gods. The teaser also showed a glimpse of Natalie Portman as Mighty Thor, who played Thor’s girlfriend, Jane Foster, in the franchise’s first two installments, and Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie and the newly appointed ruler of the New Asgard.
Thor: Love and Thunder is directed by Taika Waititi (Thor: Ragnarok, Jojo Rabbit) and produced by Kevin Feige and Brad Winderbaum will open in theaters July 8, 2022. Watch the first teaser trailer below.
