“The Sensitive Kind” was included in Carlos Santana’s 11th studio album entitled, “Zebop!” It was released in April 1981. It was produced by Santana himself along with Bill Graham. It ranked 9th in the Billboard 200 in 1981; 36th in the Black Albums and 10th in the Jazz Albums. It earned gold status in France and was certified platinum in the United States.

This particular track, on the other hand, ranked 56th in the Billboard Hot 100 on the same year.
