Buckingham Nicks Album Reissue
The announcement comes shortly after news that Buckingham Nicks, the only studio album recorded by Stevie and Lindsey Buckingham as a duo, will get its first-ever reissue. While the album was not a major commercial success, it caught the attention of drummer Mick Fleetwood, who invited them to join Fleetwood Mac.
Stevie and Lindsey’s relationship has been strained since he was dismissed from the band in 2018 under tense circumstances. However, Mick has expressed hope they could reconcile.

Mick Fleetwood’s Reflections
Speaking to Us Weekly, Mick said, “I always have a fantasy that [Stevie] and Lindsey would pal up a bit more and just say everything’s OK for them both. But we’ve had such an incredible career.”
Mick had aimed to reunite the band before the death of Christine McVie in November 2022 at age 79. He has admitted to struggling with direction since her passing but remains open to performing again in the future. “I miss playing as much as we used to. I’m hoping next year, one way or another, some band somewhere will say, come and play with drums or something. So, I always love to do whatever I can do working on an album that next year we may tour with it. I don’t know, [but] not Fleetwood Mac.”
