Steven Tyler is a phenomenal frontman – end of story.
He’s just as comfortable playing a sold out arena as he is here in a tiny outdoor venue, armed with only an acoustic guitar and that powerhouse voice that sums up rock and roll.
I love the simplistic approach he took to this performance of ‘Jaded’; Steven’s so casual here, and it feels more like a really intimate jam session at a barbecue than an actual show! It’s intimate, but it’s still fun and by the end it’ll have you singing right along with Steven!
‘Jaded’ is about Steven’s relationship with his daughters.
Being a rockstar and struggling with drug addiction have both pulled him away from his girls, and there’s a lot he missed out on. ‘Jaded’ talks about his regret at having missed major milestones in their lives.
If Steven is this amazing with just an acoustic guitar, I can’t even imagine how amazing he’ll be on his newest venture!
