Steven Tyler and Joe Perry join David Letterman- man are they a wild duo!

Tyler and Perry talk Idol, Aerosmith, and their new album!

The band is on FIRE!

The one thing I can always count on from these two during interviews is complete honesty.

Letterman quoted The Grateful Dead saying “good luck keeping up with these guys“… in reference to their wild ways in the 70’s.

Perry speaks of the band’s “toxic years” explaining that over the past 40 years of them being a touring band, they were only “wild” for about seven of them, and really tried to clean up their act for the duration of their long career.

Tyler adds: “We raping and pillaging going form town to town, wherever it was, and you don’t go back to bowling after a show- you go drink, you go do drugs- it felt good“

As a huge fan of Aerosmith, I am sure I can speak on behalf of every fan, and say we are so happy and grateful these guys got it together, cleaned up their act, and continued to make great music.
