I’m loving this young boys tribute to Joplin’s classic!

There are a lot of covers of Janis Joplin out there, but boy does this young kid take the cake!

Stephen McLaughlin performed “Piece Of My Heart” for his blind audition on The Voice, UK.

I absolutely LOVED him. I was so surprised and shocked to see that no one turned their chair for this charming child.

It takes a ton of courage to get up in front of millions of people and sing your heart out, and I know he would have made Janis one proud woman! From his low growls, high notes, and his even tones through-out the entire song, I was completely captivated from the beginning. I’ve never heard a young male cover our Blues Queen, and I certainly hope its not the last time!

I can’t wait to see what Stephen does next. He might have not made it through to the finals, but I know we haven’t seen the last of Stephen McLaughlin.
