Scorpions Announced Las Vegas Residency Celebrating Their 60th Anniversary

Scorpions are gearing up to celebrate their 60th anniversary with a bang, and what better way to do it than with another Las Vegas residency? The legendary rock band will be taking over PH Live at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in early 2025 for their “Scorpions – Coming Home to Las Vegas 60th Anniversary” residency. It all kicks off on February 27, with four additional dates in March. Buckcherry will be joining them as special guests, making it a rock-filled event fans won’t want to miss.
Klaus Meine Stirs Up the Anniversary Excitement
As frontman Klaus Meine put it, “There couldn’t be a better way than to start 2025 in Las Vegas with another residency at Planet Hollywood. Come and celebrate with us our 60th anniversary and catch a rockin’ good time … we gonna sting yaaaa!!!” Tickets go on sale Saturday, and fans can snag theirs on Ticketmaster. Scorpions’ Vegas Legacy
This isn’t the first time Scorpions have rocked the Las Vegas Strip. This upcoming residency will be their third in just four years. They previously headlined the Sin City Nights residency in 2022, supported by Skid Row, and followed it up in 2024 with Love at First Sting Las Vegas, where they played most of their iconic 1984 album in celebration of its 40th anniversary.
While we don’t know exactly what songs they’ll be playing during their 2025 residency, fans can expect hits spanning their massive 19-album discography. Scorpions may have become global rock stars in the ’80s, but they’ve been together since 1965, releasing their debut album, Lonesome Crow, in 1972. After several more albums, they truly broke into the charts with 1979’s Lovedrive. Over the next decade, they cemented their status with Top 10 albums, and their 1991 ballad “Wind of Change” became an international anthem.
