The Red Rocker Returns to the UK
Rock legend Sammy Hagar has announced that his Best of All Worlds Tour will make its way to the UK in July 2026 for a massive arena run. The tour kicks off on July 4, 2026, marking Hagar’s first UK performances since 1996. Backed by his powerhouse Best of All Worlds Band, the lineup features guitar virtuoso Joe Satriani, Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Michael Anthony on bass, and veteran drummer Kenny Aronoff. Special guest Joan Jett & The Blackhearts and rising act JAYLER will join as openers.
The tour will include stops in Manchester, Birmingham, and Leeds, before concluding with a grand finale at London’s O2 Arena. Tickets go on sale Friday, October 31, at 10 a.m. GMT via AEG Presents. For longtime fans, this marks a milestone — the first time Hagar has performed Van Halen classics live in the UK since the band’s famous Wembley Stadium shows three decades ago.
Hagar’s Excitement and Setlist Highlights
“I can’t wait to cross the Atlantic with the Best of All Worlds Band,” said Hagar. “Fans in the UK and Europe have waited a long time—and so have I!”
The upcoming tour promises a career-spanning setlist that revisits Hagar’s most defining musical eras. Audiences can expect hits from his early days with Montrose, chart-topping solo singles, and standout tracks from his years with Van Halen and Chickenfoot. Classics such as “Finish What Ya Started,” “5150,” “Your Love Is Driving Me Crazy,” “Best of Both Worlds,” “Poundcake,” “Why Can’t This Be Love,” and “I Can’t Drive 55” are all expected to make the cut.
The combination of Satriani’s guitar brilliance, Anthony’s signature harmonies, and Aronoff’s powerhouse drumming makes this lineup one of the most exciting rock collaborations in years. Hagar’s return also serves as a tribute to his long history of blending energy, melody, and showmanship — qualities that have defined his five-decade career.

Joan Jett Joins the Lineup
Adding even more star power, Joan Jett & The Blackhearts will make their first UK live appearances in 15 years as part of the tour. Known as the “Godmother of Punk,” Jett began her career with The Runaways in 1975 before launching her band in 1980. Her hits — including “I Love Rock N’ Roll,” “Bad Reputation,” and “Cherry Bomb” — remain staples of rock radio and concert stages worldwide.
Fans can expect an electrifying combination of attitude and anthems when Jett takes the stage, setting the tone for Hagar’s high-octane headline performance.
A New Live Album Fuels the Excitement
Coinciding with the tour announcement, Hagar and his band have released a live album titled “Sammy Hagar & The Best of All Worlds Band – The Residency.” The 19-track record, captured during Hagar’s 2025 Las Vegas residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM, showcases the same setlist that will power the UK tour. It’s available now to stream or download.
The live album captures the raw energy of Hagar’s shows — a blend of nostalgia and modern rock vitality that continues to define his legacy.
Four Decades of Rock Excellence
Across more than forty years, Sammy Hagar has built a career that few in rock can match. He has sold over 50 million albums, earned 25 Platinum records, and was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame with Van Halen. He also holds a Grammy Award and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
As he prepares to bring his music back to the UK, Hagar shows that his passion for performing remains as strong as ever. “The Red Rocker” isn’t just revisiting his past — he’s proving that his music still connects with fans across generations.
