Hagar Returns to the U.K. After 30 Years
Rock legend Sammy Hagar is set to launch a major U.K. arena tour in 2026 with his Best of All Worlds Band, marking his first full tour in the region since 1996. The series of shows will feature a special tribute to Van Halen, making it the first time Hagar has performed those classics live in the U.K. since Van Halen’s legendary Wembley Stadium concerts three decades ago.
The tour’s setlist will include many of Van Halen’s greatest hits, alongside songs from Hagar’s five-decade career. Fans can also expect material from his years with Montrose, Chickenfoot, and his solo work. “It’s gonna be the same mix of songs — very Van Halen-heavy, because Joe can do it,” said Hagar, according to Parade. He also hinted that the band plans to perform “10 to 12 Van Halen tracks,” ensuring a show filled with fan favorites and deep cuts alike.
A Star-Packed Band and High Demand for Tickets
Tickets for the highly anticipated shows will go on sale on October 31 at 10 a.m. GMT and are expected to sell quickly. The announcement follows Hagar’s successful run of U.S. shows and his acclaimed Las Vegas residency, which reignited enthusiasm among fans across generations.
The Best of All Worlds Band brings together a powerhouse lineup of seasoned musicians. Alongside Hagar, the band features former Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony, guitar virtuoso Joe Satriani, and drummer Kenny Aronoff. Special guests Joan Jett & The Blackhearts will join the tour, with Jayler opening each show. This combination of talent promises a dynamic performance that bridges eras of classic rock.

U.K. Tour Dates and Venues
The 2026 tour will span four major cities across the United Kingdom:
July 4: AO Arena, Manchester
July 5: BP Pulse Live, Birmingham
July 7: First Direct Bank Arena, Leeds
July 9: The O2 Arena, London
These shows mark Hagar’s most significant engagement with British fans in decades. Speaking to Ultimate Classic Rock, he expressed excitement about returning overseas. “I can’t wait to cross the Atlantic with the Best of All Worlds Band. Fans in the U.K. and Europe have waited a long time — and so have I!” he said.
Honoring Van Halen’s Legacy
Hagar also shared his renewed connection with the Van Halen catalog in recent years. “Since Eddie died and since Alex sold his drumkit, I feel more comfortable leaning into my era of Van Halen, and even playing a few of the old songs, because frickin’ Mike Anthony’s in the band,” he told Louder Sound.
The upcoming tour is set to celebrate the enduring power of classic rock while honoring the spirit of Van Halen, whose music continues to inspire generations of fans.
