Rush has expanded their much-anticipated 2026 Fifty Something reunion tour, adding 17 more cities to the itinerary, including stops in Philadelphia, Detroit, Boston, and Atlanta. The complete schedule is available below.
Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson, the surviving members of the band, will be joined by Anika Nilles, who is stepping in for the late drummer and lyricist Neil Peart on this upcoming tour. Tickets for the newly announced dates will be available starting Friday, October 31. For more information, fans can visit the band’s official website.
The initial leg of the tour went on sale on October 17, with many shows quickly selling out as excitement for Rush’s return continues to build.
The Spark Behind the Reunion
At a private event held at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame earlier this month, Lifeson reflected on what led to the band’s reunion. “After the R40 tour wrapped up in 2015, Neil was done,” he said. “But Geddy and I still felt there was something left in us. Over time, I was okay with stepping back, knowing we had an incredible 40-year run. The road life and being away from family had taken its toll.”
He added:
“Then Geddy came with some fresh ideas, and we started jamming again. I was reminded how much I love playing. Revisiting the Rush catalog was a challenge—it’s complex and nuanced—but that challenge reignited my passion. The more we rehearsed, the more excited I got about getting back on stage.”
Looking Ahead
The Fifty Something tour will launch on June 7, 2026, in Los Angeles. With the newly added dates, the trek is set to wrap up on December 15 in Vancouver, promising fans a final, extensive celebration of Rush’s legendary career.
