Roger Waters Premieres First Trailer For His “This Is Not A Drill” Movie

Roger Waters, the creative force behind Pink Floyd, is bringing his “first ever Farewell Tour” to movie theaters around the globe. Titled This Is Not A Drill – Live From Prague – The Movie, the concert film was recorded during Waters’ powerful performance at the O2 Arena in Prague, Czech Republic, on May 25, 2023. The concert is shot in ultra-crisp 8K and directed by his longtime collaborator Sean Evans. Fans can catch the film in cinemas worldwide beginning July 23, with tickets already on sale at www.rogerwaters.film.

This cinematic release is far from just a greatest hits compilation. Waters blends 20 legendary songs from Pink Floyd and his solo career—including “Us & Them,” “Wish You Were Here,” “Comfortably Numb,” and “Is This The Life We Really Want?”—with a sharp critique of modern society. As Waters describes it, the show is “a stunning indictment of the corporate dystopia in which we all struggle to survive” and is dedicated to “our brothers and sisters all over the world who are engaged in the existential battle for the soul of humanity.” His newly acclaimed song, “The Bar,” also makes a stirring appearance.
