New Album Details
Former Led Zeppelin singer Robert Plant is back with his first full-length studio album in eight years. His new record, “Saving Grace,” arrives Friday, Sept. 26, and features the musicians who share the band’s name. The lineup includes vocalist Suzi Dian, drummer Oli Jefferson, guitarist Tony Kelsey, banjo and string player Matt Worley, and cellist Barney Morse-Brown.
Plant began working on the project during the COVID-19 lockdown. On his official Instagram, he said he “connected closely to this diverse group of musicians,” which shaped the sound of the album. Mixing folk and blues, Saving Grace shows Plant exploring styles that have long influenced his solo career.

Early Releases and Career Highlights
The album includes a cover of Low’s “Everybody’s Song,” which Plant released early along with two other tracks, “Chevrolet” and “Gospel Plough,” on Sept. 4 to give fans a preview. Saving Grace will be Plant’s 12th solo studio album, following 2017’s Carry Fire.
Before his solo success, Plant fronted Led Zeppelin from its start in 1968 until the band’s breakup in 1980. During that time, the group became one of rock’s most influential acts. Plant’s later solo work continued to earn praise, showing his ability to move beyond Zeppelin’s signature sound while keeping his powerful voice at the center. In 1995, he and his bandmates were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, cementing their place in music history.
