Robert Plant and Paul Weller Release New Collaboration Song

Robert Plant has collaborated with Paul Weller on a track for Weller’s upcoming covers album, Find El Dorado. The pair recorded “Clive’s Song,” a folk piece originally performed by Scottish singer Hamish Imlach in 1971. Written by Clive Palmer—co-founder of the Incredible String Band, a group Plant has cited as a Led Zeppelin influence—the song blends well with Plant’s folk roots.
The track is Plant’s first recorded release since his 2021 collaboration with Alison Krauss on Raise the Roof. Weller invited Plant to contribute due to the singer’s deep connection to traditional folk and blues music.
Plant Heads Back on Tour with Saving Grace
Plant will continue his European tour with his band Saving Grace next week. After wrapping up performances in Sweden, Norway, and Finland in late May, the tour will resume on July 10 with a series of shows in Italy, France, and Spain over the following three weeks.
What to Expect on Find El Dorado
Set to release on July 25, Find El Dorado features 15 cover songs that hold personal significance for Weller. In addition to “Clive’s Song,” the album includes covers of the Flying Burrito Brothers’ “White Line Fever,” the Bee Gees’ “I Started a Joke,” and the Kinks’ “Nobody’s Fool.”
