A Possible Bad Company Reunion
While the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame has not revealed much about what will happen on induction night, Paul Rodgers of Bad Company recently hinted that fans might see a special reunion performance.
In an interview with Rolling Stone, Rodgers said there’s a strong chance he and Simon Kirke, the band’s only other surviving original member, will perform together when Bad Company is inducted.
“I’m going to be there for sure, yeah. And I believe Simon is, too,” he said when asked about attending the ceremony. When questioned about performing, he replied, “Well, we may well. We’ll see how we go.”
Rodgers added that organizers are encouraging them to perform.
“Well, they want us to, and I may,” he explained. “I haven’t decided what songs to sing at this point in time. But it could be ‘Rock ‘n’ Roll Fantasy.’”

Rodgers Reflects on the Honor
Rodgers admitted he feels “a little bit nervous” about the event, especially because he’ll have to deliver a speech.
“I’m not used to really making speeches of any nature, but I’ll be ok,” he said.
He also spoke warmly about fellow inductee Joe Cocker, recalling their time touring together.
“I toured with him on the ARMS tour. He’s such a great guy,” Rodgers shared. “He said to me once, ‘Singing is sometimes like pushing a ten-ton truck up a very steep hill.’ I said, ‘I know what you mean, Joe.’ I’m sure he would love this. He was such a great singer.”
