Paul McCartney has sparked buzz among fans with a new social media post hinting at a possible 2025 tour.
The former Beatle posted an Instagram Story featuring two guitar picks—one white, one blue—with red and black text that reads: “Paul McCartney – Got Back in 2025.” The image links to a signup form on McCartney’s official website, encouraging fans to register for updates on “tour dates, pre-sales and much more.”
The teaser suggests that McCartney may be planning a return to U.S. stages next year, potentially as part of an extended leg of his ongoing Got Back tour.
A Look Back at the Got Back Tour
The Got Back tour originally launched in April 2022, starting in Spokane, Washington. Over the next two years, McCartney brought the show to audiences across Australia, South America, Mexico, and Europe. The most recent leg wrapped up with several concerts in England in December 2023.
This past February, McCartney made a brief return to the U.S. for three intimate, surprise performances in New York City ahead of his guest appearance on Saturday Night Live’s 50th anniversary special.
The Beatles Connection
The tour shares its name with The Beatles: Get Back, the 2021 docuseries directed by Peter Jackson, which chronicled the making of the band’s final album, Let It Be. The album’s original working title was Get Back, also the name of one of their final chart-topping singles.
While nothing has been officially confirmed, McCartney’s subtle tease has fans eagerly awaiting what could be his next major tour announcement.
