Ozzy Osbourne has announced his new album is finally complete and more details will be revealed soon.

The upcoming record marks as Osbourne’s thirteenth studio album following his 2020 Ordinary Man. According to a financial statement issued by Sony late last year, the album is expected to be released before the end of this month.

In a social media post, the Prince of Darkness wrote:

“I’m so happy to let everyone know that I finished my new album this week and delivered it to my label Epic Records. I’ll be sharing all the information about the album and its upcoming release with you in the next several weeks.”

Produced by Osbourne’s longtime guitarist Andrew Watt, the album is set to feature a number of iconic rock musicians such as Robert Trujillo of Metallica on bass, Guns N’ Roses bassist Duff McKagan, Eric Clapton, longtime Ozzy guitarist Zakk Wylde, Jeff Beck, Queens Of The Stone Age’s Josh Homme and Pearl Jam’s Mike McCready.

While the drumming duties are shared by the late Taylor Hawkins of Foo Fighters, and Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith. In an interview before the making of the album, Smith said:

“I hope that Ozzy gets stronger. He’s very prideful and wants to be up there doing his thing and I get it 100 percent. I hope someday just to play any of those songs. It’d be great. He’s the best, man.”

This album also reunited Osbourne and former Black Sabbath bandmate Tony Iommi. Last year, Iommi stated:

“I wrote the whole track and played on it and played the solo on it.

“It’s horrible, really….No. I’m joking. No, it’s good. It’s really good. And I like what Ozzy sang on it. I think he did a really good job.”

Last year, Osbourne shared to Metal Hammer that the new LP will include 15 tracks. He said:

“It’s kept me alive, you know. These past two years I’ve been in a terrible fucking state between the accident and then the pandemic. It’s kept me sane – I’ve needed the music.”
