Jack Osbourne is not convinced that his father Ozzy Osbourne can ever hit the road again.
In the previous episode of The Osbournes Podcast, Ozzy shared details about his comeback to the stage despite his health challenges. The Prince of Darkness also mentioned his plan to start practicing tai chi to help him with his return to the road. He said:
“I’m gonna try to do it. It’s good for balance. It’s a new adventure.
“I want to get back, and all options are open for me now.”
In July, Ozzy was forced to pull out of the Power Trip festival that took place in October. At that time, he released a statement that reads:
“My original plan was to return to the stage in the summer of 2024, and when the offer to do this show came in, I optimistically moved forward.”
The comments came after he revealed in February that he had retired from touring. He said at that time:
“This is probably one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to share with my loyal fans. As you may all know, four years ago, this month, I had a major accident, where I damaged my spine.
“My one and only purpose during this time has been to get back onstage. My singing voice is fine. However, after three operations, stem cell treatments, endless physical therapy sessions, and most recently groundbreaking Cybernics (HAL) Treatment, my body is still physically weak.”
Following his last successful spinal surgery in September, Ozzy said he wants to make a new solo album in 2024. However, just recently, Jack admitted to The Messenger:
“I don’t think he’ll tour again. But he’s gunning to do one-off shows—like festivals, gigs, things like that. He’s not done yet!”
Jack then shared his father is doing “really well.” He added:
“There were a few hiccups, but he’s doing good. He’s got no more pain, no more nerve issues.”
