With Oasis’s much-anticipated reunion tour set for 2025, images of Liam Gallagher’s run-ins with paparazzi have surfaced, sparking a social media push to cancel the band. But Liam isn’t letting any of the chatter get to him, and he made that clear with some cheeky responses on social media.
A viral post featuring the images questioned the fandom’s reaction: “Oh, apparently today’s fandom weirdness is that we’re pretending Liam’s never punched white paparazzi?” One fan quickly points out that Liam treats all paparazzi the same, regardless of who they are or their background. Liam himself added, “I do not discriminate. [They’re] all c*nts.”
Unfazed by “Cancel Culture”
As the debate over canceling Oasis gained momentum, another user mocked the idea, calling it “hilarious.” In response, Liam confidently replied, “Good luck with that.” When someone commented on how people were jumping to conclusions, he playfully replied, “Oooh, I’m scared.” The Gallagher brothers have always been used to controversies. So this was nothing new to them.
Oasis’s reunion announcement came just before the 30th anniversary of their debut album, Definitely Maybe. The news sparked a wave of excitement across the music world, especially on social media. Initially, the band planned a 17-show tour across five cities in the U.K. and Ireland. But with fans eager to secure tickets, additional concert dates added to meet demand.
Oasis Returns With Epic 2025 Tour
The Oasis tour starts on July 4, 2025, in Cardiff, Wales, and continues until November with several planned stops in the U.S. and Australia. There hasn’t been any confirmation of the official lineup but there’s news that bassist Andy Bell and guitarists Paul Arthurs and Gem Archer will join Liam and his brother Noel Gallagher on stage.
Despite the online noise, Liam seems more focused on the tour than on any drama. For fans, the return of Oasis promises an epic journey down memory lane with one of rock’s most beloved bands.
