A Mysterious Tease on Social Media
Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks have once again sparked speculation after posting together on Aug. 11. The Fleetwood Mac legends shared a cryptic Instagram video hinting at something set for later this week.
The clip showed a stereo with a classic radio dial tuned near 100.5 FM. Playing in the background was their song โDonโt Let Me Down Again,โ from their Buckingham Nicks album. As the camera zoomed in on the dial, the date โAugust 13, 2025โ appeared at the top. The caption was short and direct: โWednesday.โ
Fans immediately flooded the comments with questions and guesses. โWHAT IS THIS?โ one wrote, while another asked, โWhat is happening?โ One commenter wondered if the letters on the radio buttons hinted at โtour regions theyโre coming to.โ Others pointed out that the song featured was one of the best on the original album.
Speculation and Excitement
Some followers reminded others that the reissue of Buckingham Nicks was already announced for September. โYeah, but we know its release date is in September. So whatโs happening Wednesdayโฆ?โ one asked. Another speculated they might re-release โDonโt Let Me Down Againโ as a singleโmore than 50 years after it debuted.
One fan pushed for bigger news: โSTOP DROPPING SINGLES. START DROPPING TOUR DATES.โ Another added, โI will go into debt to see you guys on tour. PLEASEEEE.โ

The Reissue Announcement
The buzz follows the July 23 announcement that Buckingham and Nicks would reissue their self-titled 1973 album. The news came through an Instagram post showing a Sunset Boulevard billboard featuring the albumโs well-known cover art, along with their names and the date September 19.
โBuckingham Nicks is available for pre-order now, out September 19th. โจ โCrying In The Nightโ is yours now,โ the caption read.
This reissue is notable because the album has been out of print for decades. The announcement also came after the two shared a lyric exchange in mid-July from their song โFrozen Love.โ The renewed collaboration has surprised many fans, given the pairโs history of personal and professional ups and downs.
Touring Still Uncertain
Despite the excitement, thereโs no confirmation of a joint tour to promote the reissue. Stevie Nicks had a solo tour planned, but on Aug. 1 she announced on social media that she would postpone all August and September dates due to a fractured shoulder.
Her schedule is set to resume on Oct. 1 in Portland, Oregon, but whether the reissue will lead to any joint performances with Buckingham remains unknown.
