Neil Young Surprises Fans And Releases Rare, Long-Lost Acoustic Album—The First Single Is Magical!

Last year, Neil Young released two brand new albums: EARTH and Peace Trail. It was great to hear from Neil and Promise of the Real, however many thought that it might be the last material we’d ever hear from Mr. Young.

However, we were wrong, because Neil surprised everyone today by announcing he would be bringing an unreleased album to the surface! That’s right, a new, unreleased acoustic album titled Hitchhiker will finally be released, and in anticipation Young gave us a taste by releasing a song from the album! The song is the title track, “Hitchhiker,” and hold that classic folky Neil Young vibe! It’s instantly recognizable as one of his tunes, and you can stream it on Spotify for free.
