The 66th Annual Grammy Awards recently took place in Los Angeles, featuring a pre-telecast ceremony where a significant number of awards were presented to deserving winners.

Metallica secured the Best Metal Performance award for their album 72 Seasons, with bassist Robert Trujillo accepting on behalf of the band. Trujillo emphasized the collaborative spirit behind the album, expressing the importance of keeping instruments in the hands of the youth to sustain their love for music.

Boygenius claimed victory in multiple categories, winning Best Rock Performance for “Not Strong Enough,” as well as Best Rock Song and Best Alternative Music Album for The Record. Meanwhile, Paramore, absent from the event, earned recognition for Best Rock Album with This Is Why and Best Alternative Music Performance.

The main awards were presented during the CBS broadcast from 8 PM to approximately 11:30 PM ET, with Paramount+ subscribers able to stream the event live.
