Another crazy thing about Metallica fans, is that they always try to find the rarest pieces of merchandise. Take for example this video: During a meet and greet with Lars Ulrich one fan brought an incredibly rare item. The fan handed Lars a tape and asked him to sign it. Lars took the tape, and was shocked to realize that it was a tape of the band’s first ever recording!
Fun Fact: Lars Ulrich moved to Los Angeles at the age of sixteen to train tennis professionally!
The cassette tape had Lars’ original handwriting on it, and even included a stamp that James Hetfield made himself at his old job. It’s a pretty crazy artifact and Lars is impressed with the fan’s exclusive find!
