Megadeth’s Dave Mustaine Diagnosed With Cancer

If you’re a fan of heavy metal, then there’s a high chance you’re also a fan of Megadeth. One of the best bands ever. But there has been unfortunate news. Frontman Dave Mustaine has been diagnosed with cancer. This announcement came just a while ago as he wrote on the band’s website.

“I’ve been diagnosed with throat cancer. It’s clearly something to be respected and faced head on — but I’ve faced obstacles before. I’m working closely with my doctors, and we’ve mapped out a treatment plan which they feel has a 90% success rate. Treatment has already begun.”

He and the band will be forced to cancel most upcoming shows, understandably.
