European Dates Added
Megadeth has extended their 2026 world tour once again, adding several European headlining dates — including a country they have never played before. The thrash metal band will travel across the continent in June, stopping in Germany, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Austria, and Turkey. The European leg will finish with their live debut in Kazakhstan on June 28.
Tickets for the newly announced European shows go on sale to the general public on Friday. Fans can check the full list of dates below for details on venues and cities.
Other Tour Stops
The recent European announcements follow earlier news of headlining shows in Canada, Mexico, and South America. Megadeth will mix these headline shows with festival appearances, and they are scheduled to open for Iron Maiden in both North America and Europe. However, the band has not yet revealed any of their own U.S. headlining dates.
These concerts will support Megadeth’s self-titled final album, set to release on January 23. So far, the band has shared two singles from the album — “Tipping Point” and “I Don’t Care.” The album will also feature a cover of Metallica’s “Ride the Lightning,” which Dave Mustaine co-wrote during his time with the band.

Plans for the Future
Fans who do not see Megadeth in their area need not worry yet. Mustaine, 64, recently told Kerrang!, “We’re easily talking about touring for another three to five years. And if we’re going to be doing it for that long then, shit, I’ll be looking at the birthday I don’t even want to think about!” This suggests more announcements may come later, keeping fans around the world hopeful for additional dates.
2026 European Headlining Tour Dates:
June 7 – Gelsenkirchen, Germany @ Amphitheater
June 11 – Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg @ Rockhal
June 15 – Zurich, Switzerland @ Halle 622
June 16 – Vienna, Austria @ Gasometer
June 23 – Istanbul, Turkey @ Kucukciftlik Park
June 28 – Almaty, Kazakhstan @ Spartak Stadium
Megadeth’s return to Europe, combined with their first-ever show in Kazakhstan, marks an exciting expansion for the band’s final album tour. Fans will get to see them perform both classic hits and new tracks live as the band continues its global run.
