Check Out The Dates

KISS just announced that their farewell tour will include a 12-date residency in Las Vegas at the Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood Las Vegas Resort & Casino. Gene Simmons also confirmed that David Lee Roth will no longer open for the legendary band’s 2021 tour. Replacing Diamond Dave is performance painter David Garibaldi who will provide support for KISS until October 9th.

The residency kicks off with a three-night run on December 29th and 31st, and January 1st. They will return to the venue for a series of shows from January 19th through February 5th. Meanwhile, their “End of the Road” trek resumes on August 18 in Mansfield, Massachusetts.

When asked about Roth’s absence, Simmons told Rolling Stone: “It bears noting that during Dave’s heyday, nobody did what he did.”

“He was the ultimate frontman,” Simmons continued. “Not [Robert] Plant, not Rod Stewart, nobody. He took being a frontman way beyond anything. And then, I don’t know what happened to him… something.”

“And you get modern-day Dave,” he added. “I prefer to remember Elvis Presley in his prime. Sneering lips, back in Memphis, you know, doing all that. I don’t want to think of bloated naked Elvis on the bathroom floor.”

KISS Las Vegas Residency Dates:

December: 12/29, 12/31
January: 1/1, 1/19, 1/21, 1/22, 1/26, 1/28, 1/29
February: 2/2, 2/4, 2/5
